Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX Receives Live-Action Music Video Full of J-Pop Cuteness

Inti Creates is celebrating the release of their first live-action music video in the company’s 24-year history. With the release of Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX coming up the company has commissioned a music video staring the game’s main heroine Lola.

Shirogane no Promise (Protocol) is sung by Mayu Mineda, who is the voice of Lola. The video is especially adorable considering that the j-pop artist is cosplaying her character. I’m sure you want to see the video now and not be reading this, so go ahead and skip to the bottom of the article while I add the formalities.

In Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX Sumeragi has an elite soldier class known as The Falcons. The Falcons are made up of citizen determined to have powerful Septimas and are given a “Falcon Quill” that unlocks a new level of power. Two of these Falcon soldiers are Rebellio and Crimm. Each character has a distinct fighting style and a variety of abilities.

Rebellio uses weapons such as a scythe and guillotine to attack his opponents but also yields a Gatling gun. Whereas Crimm utilizes beautiful explosions and blasts to clear a room.

Each of these characters has their own backstory and reasons for ending up in the situation they are in. There past and experiences bleed over into their fighting style and skills, which makes more sense the more players learn about them.

Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX, coming to PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC-via Steam on September 26.
