Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX Delayed on Xbox One Until Game Crashing Bug is Resolve

Inti Creates announced that their 2D action game, Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX, will sadly be delayed on the recently announced Xbox One.

The announcement comes from the developer who states that a game crashing bug discovered in the launch build has prevented the game from launching on the planned September 26 release. The team also confirmed that they are hard at work on resolving the bug and that the game will launch as soon as it’s resolved.

Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX will still launch on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC-via Steam on September 26. This will be the first time that a Gunvolt title will appear on both a PS4 and Xbox console.

Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX will branch away from the series’ mainline protagonist, Gunvolt, and instead focus on the anti-hero, Copen. The developer has stressed that while fans of the series will appreciate some of the small nods to previous entries, this is a stand-alone title and can be played without knowledge of the previous games.

When it comes to playing as Copen, players will need to dash around the screen and tag enemies to unleash a barrage of cannon fire at them. It ultimately serves as an excellent way to chain together combos given that you acquire extra bullets as you dash and destroy enemies.
