Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX 2 Details New Enemy, Vespa

Inti Creates released new details for Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX 2, coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, and PC-via Steam on January 27, 2022.

We learn more about Vespa, a (self-described) high-class, noble worker who utilizes custom propellers to manipulate wind. Vespa hates to be overlooked and will go out of her way to stroke her ego. Her brother, also a Gravekeeper, has modern jet engines, so she tells people that her propellers are more of status symbol than “retro,” and puts on a high-class lady personality. However, when she drops the act when her emotions get the best of her.

Fighting Vestpa requires you to be aware of some rather quick wind attacks. The EX Weapon received from her is Whirling Chopper.

Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX 2 follows Copen after the events of Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX. The world is at peace, but Copen is now deep in research to discover more about a mysterious tech called a “Blaster Rifle.” As he works to repair the device, a wormhole appears and sucks him in where he finds himself in a desert world where mechanical beings known as “Workers” live.

Lola and Kohaku join Copen and must search for a way home. They end up helping a Worker girl named Null who leads them to a giant tower called “Grave pill” which stores the world’s secrets. I bet you can guess that Copen will have to fight after this.

Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX 2 is a sequel to the 2019 release of Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger. This new adventure features Copin who brings his stylish moves along with a new “Break-Shift” form. Further, Copen is equipped with a new spinning blade weapon, the Razor Wheel that rips through enemies, which will help against the new enemies and bosses that stand in his way. Following a boss battle, Copen will earn a new EX Weapon to mix up his arsenal.
