Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX 2 Reveals Collab With Gal*Gun Double Peace Adding Kurona as a Boss
Inti Creates announced that their 2D action game, Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX 2, will launch a host collab with their 2D action game, Gal*Gun Double Peace, on March 24, 2022.
With the release of Gal*Gun Double Peace on Nintendo Switch coming on March 17, it only makes to get the most out of these characters. The collaboration finds the trouble maker Kurona as a boss character complete with her own special ability. Defeating Kurona will unlock a new ability for Copen called Dark Power, which will change Lola’s appearance.
Further, Kurona will be voiced by Michelle Marie in English and Aya Fujita in Japanese. The DLC is priced at $3.99.
Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX 2 follows Copen after the events of Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX. The world is at peace, but Copen is now deep in research to discover more about a mysterious tech called a “Blaster Rifle.” As he works to repair the device, a wormhole appears and sucks him in where he finds himself in a desert world where mechanical beings known as “Workers” live.
Lola and Kohaku join Copen and must search for a way home. They end up helping a Worker girl named Null who leads them to a giant tower called “Grave pill” which stores the world’s secrets. I bet you can guess that Copen will have to fight after this.
Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX 2 is a sequel to the 2019 release of Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger. This new adventure features Copin who brings his stylish moves along with a new “Break-Shift” form. Further, Copen is equipped with a new spinning blade weapon, the Razor Wheel that rips through enemies, which will help against the new enemies and bosses that stand in his way. Following a boss battle, Copen will earn a new EX Weapon to mix up his arsenal.
