Guilty Gear and Guilty Gear XX: Accent Core Plus R Available Now on Switch eShop With New Trailer
Arc Systems Works announced that their 2D fighting series Guilty Gear, Guilty Gear and Guilty Gear XX Λcore Plus R, is available now digitally via the Nintendo Switch eShop. Guilty Gear has also been released on PC-via Steam.
The publisher released an all-new trailer for the launch of Guilty Gear XX Λcore Plus R on the new platform giving players a preview of the game running on Switch hardware. Both games will feature the full roster of characters for players to explore through the character’s respective story mode.
Guilty Gear released in 1998 on the original PlayStation. The game brought a unique style and presentation to the fighting game community that has been a mainstay in the series over the years. Additionally, fans enjoyed the complex and over-the-top anime-style story as they followed the character’s journey throughout every game.
Guilty Gear XX Λcore Plus R released in 2008 in Japan and marks the final installment of the Guilty Gear XX series, which balanced everything introduced in the previous 12 installments. Players were able to use skills to cancel all kinds of action, which changed the flow of battle and set the bar for the rest of the series.
