Guilty Gear Strive Update Alters Digital Figure Mode to Prevent Viewing Character Models at Particular Angles

Arc System Works recently launched update version 1.41 for Guilty Gear Strive, implementing the Team of 3 mode encouraging multiplayer.

However, the update also seemingly made other alterations, notably how the camera in the Digital Figure mode now prevents players from viewing character models in particular ways.

A post by user @Furious_blog showcases this change in action, which makes Bridget’s character model vanish from sight entirely when zooming in on the lower body. This design decision affects male and female characters, with various triggers in place depending on the character and their attire.

It’s worth noting that this change to the camera in this mode is potentially due to the game’s PlayStation rating changing from CERO B to CERO C.

The following statement is a translation of the post by @Furios_blog by Automaton Media:

Adjustments to the Digital Figure mode of Guilty Gear Strive, whose age rating was suddenly changed to CERO C – We have adjusted the display restriction area that makes the figure invisible when certain parts of the figure are captured by the camera.

In other news, the Switch version of Guilty Gear Strive can be pre-ordered on the eShop for $59.99.
