Guilty Gear: Strive Ships Over 300,000 Units on PS4, PS5, and PC Globally

Arc System Works announced that Guilty Gear: Strive has shipped 300,000 units since its June 11, 2021 launch on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC-via Steam.

It’s important to note that the shipped qualifier means that this also counts physical copies still at retail stores, but it’s a good indicator that the game had a successful launch. The developer has also promised free content and updates on the way.

The game launched with some issues on PC where players experience lag, but the developer is actively updated and patching that version of the game. Guilty Gear: Strive uses rollback net code on its online modes, which has become a standard in the fighting game community.

Guilty Gear: Strive is the newest entry in the Guilty Gear series. The game is created by Daisuke Ishiwatari and developed by Arc System Works to bring a hybrid 2D/3D fighter to fans. The game is known for its high difficulty and beautiful combo systems where players can master characters to cause serious damage.
