Guilty Gear Strive Season 2 Arriving; PlayStation & Steam Crossplay Confirmed

During the currently ongoing Arc Revo World Tour event, developer Arc System Works announced that Guilty Gear Strive will be receiving a second season of new content, which should come as no surprise given how popular and successful the first Season has been. Nothing specific was shared regarding Season 2 content other than an image containing four slots with question marks, hinting toward the arrival of 4 new characters. Moreover, “updates are also being prepared to improve the servers, reduce connection time to the server, and stabilize network modes.”

Additionally, crossplay was confirmed to be added to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam as part of Season 2, drastically enhancing the community’s interactions and matchups. Guilty Gear: Strive is the newest entry in the Guilty Gear series. The game was created by Daisuke Ishiwatari and developed by Arc System Works to bring a hybrid 2D/3D fighter to fans. The game is known for its high difficulty and beautiful combo systems where players can master characters to cause severe damage.
