Guilty Gear: Strive Extends Beta Test by Two Days, But You Need to Download Now to Participate
Arc System Works announced that their Guilty Gear: Strive open beta will be extended by 2 days after players encountered connection issues through the open beta weekend.
The open beta launched on February 18th for PS4 and PS5, but players couldn’t connect during certain times. Now that the issues have been fixed, the publisher has extended the beta by two days until February 23.
However, if you want to participate in the open beta, you’ll need to download the game before February 21 at 6:59 am PST. After this time, the game will be removed from the PlayStation Network, but players can still play the game.
The Open Beta features 13 playable characters, and an online connection will be required to play offline modes. However, PlayStation Plus is not required to play the Open Beta online modes. Anji Mito and the 15th character will not be playable.
Guilty Gear: Strive is the newest entry in the Guilty Gear series. The game is created by Daisuke Ishiwatari and developed by Arc System Works to bring a hybrid 2D/3D fighter to fans. The game is known for its high difficulty and beautiful combo systems where players can master characters to cause serious damage.
