Grisaia Chronos Rebellion Opens Steam Page

Frontwing has opened the Steam page for Grisaia Chronos Rebellion, the offline adaptation of the social game with the same name that ended service on August 31, 2021. While the original release was only available in Japan, this PC version will include English as a text option.

Grisaia Chronos Rebellion is a visual novel written by Asta Konno (ATRI -My Dear Moments-) along with the team behind the original The Fruit of Grisaia. The concept of the story revolves around mixing the cast from the original series with the ones from the Phantom Trigger games and some new additions which compose the fresh Class D of Mihama Academy.

As a new terrorist organization called Hadeo threatens the world, Class D, which gathers third-rate students, will see themselves forced to take guns into their hands and make a way to a brighter future with their own hands. Players will control the handler Arata, who trains these girls by using an experimental technology called PeTS, which synchronizes their neural signals.

During a specific mission, he finds a girl inside an incubator. This mysterious individual, who calls herself “L”, somehow syncs with him through the PeTS and the two escape the terrorist hideout. With L now a part of Class D, trouble is definitely coming their way.

The Steam store page also includes the following screenshots showing how the visual novel looks in English:

A specific release date for Grisaia Chronos Rebellion Steam edition has yet to be revealed but it’s said to be “coming soon.” The official Japanese Twitter account has also pointed out that there’ll be a few differences from the original Japanese CGs while the text will be not have changes. It’s not currently known what those CG changes entail.
