Artful Platformer ‘Gris’ Gets Nintendo Switch and PC Release Date in New Trailer
Devolver Digital announced that the Nomada developed artistic platformer Gris will release on Nintendo Switch and PC on December 13.
Along with the announcement, the studio released a new trailer showing gameplay and a few of the world from the game. The game tells the story of a girl, Gris, who is lost in her own world. Evidentally, she is dealing with painful experiences in her life that have manifested into a dress, which grants her special abilities. Throughout the game, Gris will grow and begin to her world in different ways which can reveal new alternate paths.
Gris aims to be all about experience so the game is free of “danger, frustration, or death”. Players will be able to explore the world without really worrying about lives, but there might still be some trial and error getting through some of the platforming sections. The game also features light puzzles and skill-based challenges.

Author’s take: The game says that it’s free from frustration, but then says there’s light puzzles and skill-based challenger that to some could be frustrating. However, this game looks awesome and I can’t wait to figure out this girl’s story and discover this world that she has led herself into.
