Emotional Platforming Adventure ‘GRIS’ Launching for PS5 & Xbox Series X|S Next Week for 4th Annniversary; Many Upgrades Revealed

Publisher Devolver Digital has announced that the Nomada-developed platforming adventure, GRIS, will launch for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on December 13, 2023, to celebrate the game’s fourth anniversary.

Prospective players can look forward to the following technical enhancements:

  • Xbox Series S: 2K 120fps
  • Xbox Series X: 4K-60fps or 2K-120fps
  • PS5: 4K 120fps + DualSense features, including haptics, speaker, and more

GRIS takes players to another world as they assume the role of a young girl who has become lost in her own world. They will experience all the things that she’s experienced in her life, manifested into a world of watercolors and danger. As she journeys through it all, she will gain new abilities that will help her navigate the more difficult sections.

The story follows Gris as she begins to see her world differently and explores new paths. The game is free of any danger at all and is meant to be an experience for the player. There are light puzzles and platforming portions of the game, as well as a few optional skill-based challenges, but other than that, it’s stress-free.

GRIS is available now on Nintendo Switch, PC via Steam, Mac, PlayStation 4, and iOS devices.
