GRIS Takes You to a Beautiful Watercolor World in New Launch Trailer

Devolver Digital launched a new trailer for the Nomada Studio developer adventure platformer GRIS, coming to Nintendo Switch and PC-via Steam on December 13.

GRIS takes players to another world. As they assume the role of a young girl who has become lost in her own world. They will experience all the things that she’s experienced in her life, manifested into a world of watercolors and danger. As she journeys through it all, she will gain new abilities that will help her navigate the more difficult sections.

The story follows Gris as she begins to see her world differently and explores new paths. The game is free of any danger at all and is meant to be an experience for the player. There are light puzzles and platforming portions of the game as well as a few optional skill-based challenges, but other than that it’s stress-free.

The launch trailer gives players a preview of the game before launch and allows them to see just how beautiful this game actually is.

Author’s take: I can’t speak on the game, but our review is posting tomorrow and I’ve only heard positive things from those who have played it.
