Vanillaware RTS GrimGrimoire OnceMore Gets April 2023 Release Date in the West in New Trailer

Publisher NIS America has shared a new trailer for GrimGrimoire OnceMore, the remastered edition of Vanillaware’s classic RTS game. Besides showing a bit of the game’s magical academy setting, the video reveals the remaster is coming west in April 4, 2023. It’ll be available on PS4, PS5 and Nintendo Switch.

Originally released on PS2, GrimGrimoire OnceMore tells the story of Lillet Blan, a young girl who recently joined the Silver Star Tower academy and wishes to become a great magician. As she learns the arts of summoning familiars, she will have to do her best to deal with the perils hidden within the tower. However, she’s determined to find out the truth about the place.

As for the gameplay, it’s necessary to be ever alert about what’s going on as the strategical combat takes place in real time and the player will have to micromanage their troops to defeat enemies and survive. The new release also includes a variety of improvements, including an optimized user interface and HD visuals, a new skill tree, an art gallery among other things.
