2D Action Game ‘Grim Guardians: Demon Purge’ Receives Limited Time Steam Demo

Inti Creates announced that their 2D action game Grim Guardians: Demon Purge has a playable demo available now on PC via Steam Next Fest. The demo is available until February 13, 2023.

Players can play through the early game to get an understanding of the dual protagonist adventure. Further, a new trailer was released showing off the English voiceover.

Grim Guardians: Demon Purge tells the story of two demon hunters named Shinobu Kamizono and Maya Kamizono, who rise up to challenge the demon castle that appeared where their school used to be. During gameplay, players will switch between the two characters on the fly to access their unique abilities. This mechanic is crucial for taking on platforming sections and boss encounters.

Fans of Inti Creates will know these characters as the stars of Gal*Gun: Double Peace. Further, enemies from the series will also appear in this new title.

Further, the game features a 2-players co-op mode where players can play simultaneously. There are also various difficulty options called the “Style System,” but players can expect a challenge for veteran players. The game mirrors classic Castlevania entries.

Grim Guardians: Demon Purge is coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam on February 23, 2023. A physical release has been revealed by publisher PQube.
