Greak: Memories of Azur is a Hand-drawn Metroidvania Set to Release This August

Team17 announced that the Rodrigo-developed fantasy Metroidvania Greak: Memories of Azur will launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, and PC-via Steam on August 17, 2021.

To celebrate the announcement a trailer has been released that introduces the characters and environments. A lot about this game’s design stands out as we get a preview of how the character can use ranged magic as a way to fight enemies, but will still need to be mindful of the environments.

Greak: Memories of Azur features hand-drawn animations and a story of three siblings, Greak, Adara, and Raydel, as players switch between them throughout the adventure. During gameplay, players will fight against various enemies and solve puzzles to stop the invasion of their homeland.

Greak: Memories of Azur is set in the land of Azure. Each character has a special power that allows them to progress through the environment. Greak can fit in small places, Adara can use levitation magic, and Raydel has fighting skills.

We’ll keep you updated on the development and release of Greak: Memories of Azur.
