Blumhouse Games and developer Perfect Garbage have announced that Grave Seasons, a narrative-driven farming sim with a horror twist, will launch on August 14, 2026. The game is set to release on PC via Steam, Xbox Series, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch, with a day-one launch on Xbox Game Pass.

    Grave Seasons 2

The release date was confirmed during the recent Xbox Partner Preview, alongside a new trailer showcasing gameplay. The title has already gained traction ahead of launch, surpassing 400,000 wishlists.

Grave Seasons blends traditional farming sim structure with a supernatural mystery. Players settle into the town of Ashenridge, where tending crops and forming relationships is only part of daily life. A serial killer is targeting residents, and the story unfolds as players investigate deaths, uncover secrets, and try to identify the culprit before more townsfolk are lost.

Outside of its farming and social systems, the game leans into a darker tone through its narrative. Interactions with villagers play a key role, as building trust may reveal clues or raise suspicions. The structure suggests a mix of routine simulation and ongoing investigation, with the threat escalating over time.
