Rockstar Games has announced that pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto VI will officially begin on June 25. Players will be able to reserve the upcoming open-world action-adventure title through digital storefronts and select retailers ahead of its planned launch next year.
The announcement was accompanied by the game’s official cover art, which Rockstar has also made available as downloadable artwork through the Grand Theft Auto VI website.
The pre-order date arrives several months after Rockstar confirmed a second delay for Grand Theft Auto VI. The game is currently scheduled to launch for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series on November 19, 2026. Rockstar previously moved the release from its Fall 2025 target to May 2026 before issuing another delay in November 2025.
Set in the fictional state of Leonida, Grand Theft Auto VI brings players back to a modern-day Vice City and follows protagonists Jason and Lucia. Rockstar has described Leonida as its largest setting to date, though many details surrounding the story and gameplay remain under wraps.
Rockstar did not announce any pre-order bonuses, special editions, or retailer-exclusive incentives alongside today’s news. Additional details are expected as pre-orders go live later this month.
