Grand Theft Auto V to Receive Next-Gen Release This November With Added Features
Rockstar announced that their open-world action game, Grand Theft Auto V, will launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on November 11, 2021.
The next-gen release of Grand Theft Auto V will include new features that will be detailed in the coming months. Further, updates arriving to GTA Online over the summer will enhance the upcoming version with additional items and modes. The team has more to share as they approach the 20th anniversary of Grand Theft Auto III.
The standalone version of GTA Online will be available to players on PS5 and Xbox Series platforms, but it will be free exclusively on PS5 for the first three months. PlayStation Plus members on PS4 can still claim GTA$1,000,000 via the PlayStation Store each month until the launch on PS5.
Grand Theft Auto V launched on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2013. The game has since received several updates and enhancements over the years, but an online community of players largely supports it. The developer adds new events such as heists, races, and customization options to give players something new to return to each time.
We’ll be sure to keep you updated on the next-gen release of Grand Theft Auto V and the new features coming to the game.
