Granblue Fantasy: Versus Introduces Zooey and Reveals Free RPG Mode Update in New Trailer
Cygames released a new character trailer for the Arc System Works-developed fighter Granblue Fantasy: Versus who will be added to the game on April 28.
At launch, players will be able to play through the game as Zooey at utilizing her familiar dragons as well as her other abilities. She will also be playable in the game’s RPG mode to unlock new weapons and items.
Additionally, the developer will launch a free update in summer 2020 adding Episodes 41 – 45 and in early 2021 adding Episodes 46 – 50. There is currently a character pass 2 available now for players who wish to download each character as they launch.
Granblue Fantasy: Versus is a 2D fighter with characters representing from the Granblue IP fighting it out across various stages. The game allows players to fight through moments of an original story where all the characters have lost their memories and must regain them by, well, fighting. Each character has their own unique skills and can exhaust abilities periodically in a fight. There is also a versus mode and items to unlock through gameplay.
