XSEED Games announced that the Cygames and Arc System Works developed fighting game, Granblue Fantasy: Versus, will appear at EVO 2019 with some special guest.
Those attending EVO 2019 will be able to meet the pro eSports team Cygames Beast led by Daigo “The Beast” Umehara, their roster also includes PR Balrog, GamerBee, Fuudo, and Infexious. Each of the members will be available at the XSEED booth from August 2 through 3. There will also be a Granblue Fantasy: Versus mini-tournament held along with a live Twitch stream on August 3 at 1 pm.
Additionally, event-goers will be able to get their hands on the newest character to be added to the roster, Percival. This will be the first time the player is playable outside of Japan so western fans can get some early hands-on time with the character.
Granblue Fantasy: Versus is a 2D fighter with characters representing from the Granblue IP fighting it out across various stages. The developer states that this will be a “new era of fighting games” with new balance systems and focus on sound and visuals.
Granblue Fantasy: Versus is coming to PlayStation 4 in 2019.
