Granblue Fantasy: Versus Adds Yuel to the Roster With New “Battle Pass” Details

Cygames has launched Yuel as the newest character added to the roster for the Arc System Works-developed fighter Granblue Fantasy: Versus available now for $6.99 or as part of the Character Pass 2 DLC bundle for $34.99, which includes six new fighters, including Belial.

Yuel uses a twin-blade dance attack for quick strikes against her opponent. She was initially chosen by her clan to recover an ancestral treasure and accompanied by her lifelong friend Societte to share the burden. Still, she approaches the task with optimism, which has led her to join up with Gran and the crew.

Additionally, XSEED announced that a brand new Battle Pass feature will be introduced in version 2.22 with a release later in December. The Battle Pass will allow players to clear limited-time challenges to increase their level and receive rewards. All players will receive free in-game items across levels including rupies, RPG Mode weapons, and in-game trophies.

Granblue Fantasy: Versus is a 2D fighter with characters representing from the Granblue IP fighting it out across various stages. The game allows players to fight through moments of an original story where all the characters have lost their memories and must regain them by, well, fighting. Each character has their own unique skills and can exhaust abilities periodically in a fight. There is also a versus mode and items to unlock through gameplay.
