Granblue Fantasy: Relink Shows Battle Gameplay and More in New Trailer and Screenshots

Cygames released new gameplay and screenshots from their upcoming PlatinumGames co-developed Granblue Fantasy: Relink, coming to PlayStation 4.

The Trailer shows off a battle against one of the game’s enemies, Goblin Chieftain, and builds off of the game’s previous trailers showing more action and some of the game’s story. Players can also get a preview of the shielded Goblin Tanker enemy and some exploration bits of a mining village. The video ends showing a battle between the characters and the Primal Beast Furycane, which is a centaur who uses electrical energy. The video wants to leave viewers at the edge of their sear because it ends with a cliffhanger.

Additionally, the publisher released new screenshots showing characters, battles, and environments from the game.

Currently, Granblue Fantasy: Relink is only announced for release in Japan, but I’m sure we all know western publishers are dying to get their hands on this game. So it’s only a matter of time before a western release is announced.

You can check out the new gameplay trailer along with a new promotional trailer and screenshots below:

Author’s take: I’ve been following this game for a while and love seeing evolve over time as the developers spend more time with it. I’m happy that it doesn’t have a release date and will wait patiently for the developers to get it to a point where they can announce when the game will release.
