God Eater 3 Gets 1.40 Update Adding Time Attack Mission Mode and New Costumes

Bandai Namco has launched a new update patch for God Eater 3, available now on PlayStation 4 and PC-via Steam.

Named Update Version 1.40, players will find a new Time Attack Mission mode where they’ll be able to see the time elapsed from when the mission starts as well as the HP of the target Aragami on screen. While playing in this mode, players can earn one of 3 types of medals depending on the time they spent to clear the mission. Rewards will be given to a player depending on the number of medals the player gets.

Additionally, players see new costumes in the game the players can earn through time attack missions. The update also brings new balance adjustments that adjust the power and motion of Burst Arts. The full list up weapon updates can be found at the game’s developer blog.

God Eater 3 continues the story of a world overran by a creature known as the Aragami. These beast wastes no time taking out humans and pushing them to hide in ships. A new AGE is upon the world and humanity is now forcing people to take on the God Arc trial, which can be lethal, all to stop the Aragami.

God Eater 3 is available now for PlayStation 4 and PC-via Steam, a Nintendo Switch version will launch on July 12.
