God Eater 3 Gets Free Patch Adding New Story Episode and Assault Mission

Bandai Namco announced that their Aragami hunting action game God Eater 3 has launched a free patch adding in new content for PlayStation 4 and Steam players.

The update adds a new episode called “Another Devil”, which introduces players to two new Aragami, Ameno Havakiri and Ash Storm Anubis, and two new NPCs Neal Pennywort and Keith Pennywort. The new mission will allow players to learn more about these new enemies and friendly as the fight their way through the event.

Additionally, a new 8-player co-op assault mission is available which allows players to play with friends to take down this new Aragami threat. The update also adds new customization options, Burst Arts, Engage Effects and Burst Arts effects to the game.

The publisher also released a new story trailer introducing the new characters and their mission, it’s pretty cheesy, but in a great way.

God Eater 3 continues the story of a world overran by a creature known as the Aragami. These beast wastes no time taking out humans and pushing them to hide in ships. A new AGE is upon the world and humanity is now forcing people to take on the God Arc trial, which can be lethal, all to stop the Aragami.

God Eater 3 is available now for PlayStation 4 and PC-via Steam, a Nintendo Switch version will launch on July 12.
