Rhythm Adventure ‘Giraffe and Annika’ Gets Western Release Date on PC
Playism announced that the atelier mimina-developed adventure rhythm game, Giraffe and Annika, is coming to PC-via Steam on February 18 in the west.
Giraffe and Annika tells the story of a cat-girl named Annika who has set out on an adventure on the island of Spica. Her mission has been given to her by a young boy named Giraffe who has tasked her with finding pieces of the stars. Sadly, she has no memory of coming to the island or this boy so finding the star pieces is the only lead she has unraveling the mystery.
The gameplay in Giraffe and Annika has the player explore the mysterious island of Spica and discover its secrets. While the game features many 3D environments to explore, the bosses are defeated through rhythm mini-games, which time the player’s reaction. The game feature five uniquely-themed dungeons which are home to star fragments to help Annika get her memories back, but there is also cute cat collectible hidden on the island that expands her gallery.
The publisher also provided some new screenshots from the title showing the world and characters. Players can also get a chance to see the comic book-style cutscenes featured in the game.
