Shmup Action Game ‘Ginga Force’ Gets PC and PS4 Release Date

Rising Star Games announced the QUTE-developed shmup action game Ginga Force will launch on PlayStation 4 and PC-via Steam on September 24 for $19.99.

In Ginga Force players will find a vertical style shmup with multiple game modes, including Story Mode and Score Attack. One the other hand, Natsuki Chronicles is a side-scrolling shooter that shares a similar setting with Ginga Force, with its own unique cast of characters.

In Ginga Force players for the story of Alex and Margaret who fairly good pilots. Their job is to battle against various deadly bosses and various other mech enemies. The story mode will take place across ten-stages with three levels of difficulty to choose from.

Players will take control of one of three ships and battle against enemies through shmup action. Furthermore, players can customize the systems by combining main, sub, and special weapons to fit the player’s playstyle. Additional modes include Score Attack Mode and Online Leader board.

Ginga Force originally lunched in Jpaane in 2013, as a spiritual successor to Eschatos. This version of the game has received some balances and adjustments. The spin-off, Natsuki Chronicles, will also release in the west later in fall 2020.
