All in! Games announced that the first-person cyberpunk parkour action game, Ghostrunner, from developers 3D Realms, One More Level Games, and Slipgate Ironworks has launched a free demo on PC-via Steam.
The demo is available to download now but will be delisted on May 13, so if you want to try the game out, I suggest downloading it.
Ghostrunner has players assume the role of a cyber-warrior in the midst of a revolution in what is known as Tower-City. Players are able to slice their way through enemies using a host of abilities and skills.
Throughout the game, players will travel up the Dharma Tower, which used to be a temporary shelter. However, now, the building represents a caste system where the lower floors represent how low your status is. At the top, sits the Keymaster, who has just become the target of the Ghostrunner.
Players will join the resistance known as the Climbers who must travel each level of the tower and do their best to survive.
“After only a handful of showings to the public, we have heard our fans and wanted to share our demo worldwide,” said Radosław Ratusznik, co-founder of One More Level. “We hope that everyone can enjoy this demo and we look forward to sharing more on Ghostrunner very soon.”
Additionally, the publisher released a new trailer for the game to show players what awaits them in the demo.
Ghostrunner is in development for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
