Saber Interactive released a new trailer for Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered, an HD re-release of the action-adventure game from 2009, coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo eShop, and PC-via the Epic Games Store.
The trailer is titled “Memories” and features fans of the game talking about their favorite moments during the original release. During the game, players will assume the role of a new Ghost Buster who has been enlisted into the group, which is a dream for die-hard fans.
Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered will include the unique story from Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis who aim to capture the supernatural comedy that fans have grown to love. Additionally, the game will retain all the voiced character dialog from the original cast. During the story, Manhattan begins to be overrun by ghosts and other paranormal creatures. It’s up to the player to drive the evil back and help the Ghostbusters retake the city and figure out who summoned these creatures.
As for the remastered version of the game, it seems like the team is mostly focused on a visual overhaul of the original. For those who don’t remember, the Wii version of the game was a completely different experience than what the other consoles at the time received, so this will be the first time this version of the game is released on a Nintendo platform.
