Sony Interactive Entertainment and Sucker Punch have announced that Ghost of Yōtei Complete Edition will launch for PlayStation 5 on October 1, 2026, priced at $69.99. The package includes the base game alongside the new Echoes of Sekigahara narrative expansion and Most Wanted single-player combat survival mode. In case you missed it, check out our review.
Existing Ghost of Yōtei owners can access the new content through the Ghost of Yōtei Complete Edition Upgrade for $14.99. The upgrade includes Echoes of Sekigahara and Most Wanted. Players who pre-order by September 30 will also receive an early unlock for the Sakai Armor on October 1, inspired by Jin Sakai’s family armor from Ghost of Tsushima.
Echoes of Sekigahara expands Atsu’s story through events set in the present and flashbacks to her time on the mainland. The story introduces Nagato, a character connected to Atsu’s past, and takes players to a previously unseen valley once occupied by The Snake and his followers, the Vipers. New enemies, heavy weapons, armor sets, and dyes are also included.
Most Wanted is a single-player combat survival mode built around bounty runs. Players accept bounties, defeat enemies to earn perks, and gain access to additional playable characters. Each character specializes in a different weapon. Atsu uses dual katana, Oyuki fights with the kusarigama, and Nagato carries a yari.
Ghost of Yōtei Complete Edition also includes the Ghost of Yōtei Legends online co-op mode, all in-game content previously included with the Digital Deluxe Edition, and the Charm of Hokkyokusei. Players who purchase the Complete Edition before October 1 can immediately access the main game and Legends, while Echoes of Sekigahara and Most Wanted will become available at launch.
Other additions arriving alongside the Complete Edition include new Watanabe Mode music tracks, Photo Mode stamps, New Game+ cosmetics, and additional Trophies tied to Echoes of Sekigahara and Most Wanted.
All Ghost of Yōtei owners will also receive a free update on October 1. Patch 2.0 adds the Beauty of Yōtei mode, which provides a screensaver-style view of Ezo’s environments. The update also adds the ability to use the appearance of one armor set while retaining the stats of another, alongside a new high-contrast accessibility option.
Ghost of Yōtei Complete Edition and its new content will arrive on October 1, 2026. Patch 2.0 is scheduled for October 2 in some territories, including Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. Online multiplayer through Legends requires PlayStation Plus.
