During the CES 2022 event yesterday, Sony announced that their PlayStation 4 exclusive, Sucker Punch, action-adventure title, Ghost of Tsushima, has sold over 8 million units worldwide. These sales regard the original release and not the updated Director’s Cut version that recently launched for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
Ghost of Tsushima is an action-adventure stealth game played in the third-person. Players can explore an open world as the last samurai, Jin Sakai, without guidance as they make their way across Tsushima Island during the first Mongol invasion of Japan in the 1270s.
During gameplay, players can utilize samurai techniques to take down opponents using weapons such as a Katana or ascend walls using a grapple to take the silent approach to their kills. Throughout battles, Jin will master new skills and abilities to defeat the Mongol Empire.
