2D Shoot’em Up ‘Ghost Blade HD’ Gets Switch Release Date

EastAsiaSoft announced that the 2Dream and Hucast developed bullet hell shmup Ghost Blade HD will launch on Nintendo Switch on October 24.

Ghost Blade HD is a bullet hell game that borrows inspiration from the ’90s entries of the genre. Players will work their way through 5 stages, each with a large boss encounter at the end, and 3 difficulty levels. The game features 3 playable ships, each with different weapons types, and 2-player local co-op, online leaderboards, and an in-game achievement system.

pre-orders on the Nintendo eShop are available now.

Players who wish to pick up a physical copy of the game can pre-order from Play Asia, which will support English text. The physical limited edition of the game will contain:

  • A physical copy of the game with reverse cover art (region free)
  • A full-color printed manual
  • An arrange soundtrack CD
  • An official SteelBook
  • An individually numbered collector’s certificate
  • A collector’s box

Additionally, the publisher released a new trailer for the game which shows gameplay running on the Switch. This also gives players just hearing about this title now a chance to get a preview of the gameplay elements and features.

Ghost Blade HD is available now on PS4, Xbox One, Wii U, and PC.
