EastAsiaSoft announced they will publish the 2Dream and Hucast developed bullet hell shmup Ghost Blade HD physically on Nintendo Switch.
Physical pre-orders for the game will go live on September 12 on Play Asia with the digital version receiving a release October. I’m sure the plan here is to launch the physical version as close to the digital release as possible. However, it’s not mentioned if pre-orders for the game are limited or not, but there will be a limited edition for the game containing:
- A physical copy of the game with reverse cover art (region free)
- A full-color printed manual
- An arrange soundtrack CD
- An official SteelBook
- An individually numbered collector’s certificate
- A collector’s box (with a beautifully embossed logo)
There will also be a standard version available.
Ghost Blade HD is a bullet hell game that borrows inspiration from ’90s entries of the genre. Players will work their way through 5 stages, each with a large boss encounter at the end, and 3 difficulty levels. The game features 3 playable ships, each with different weapons types, and 2-player local co-op, online leaderboards, and an in-game achievement system.
Additionally, the publisher released a new trailer for the game to give players a preview of how the title looks on Switch.
Ghost Blade HD is available now on PS4, Xbox One, Wii U, and PC.
