Genshin Impact 2.6 Version Update Now Avaliable; New Area, Character & Artifact Sets

Developer Hoyoverse has officially released the fourteenth Version Update for Genshin Impact on all platforms. Players can begin installing the update file on their desired platforms. However, it should be noted that even after you download the game, you will have to wait until 11 PM EST / 10 PM Central / 9 PM Mountain / 8 PM Pacific Time, as the server maintenance is still ongoing.

Here’s a list of what players should expect in this Version Update:

• A new area, The Chasm, will be available in Liyue.
  To unlock it, players must reach Adventure Rank 28 and complete the Archon Quest “A New Star Approaches” and the World Quest “Surreptitious Seven-Star Seal Sundering” to unlock the underground mines.
• A new character, Kamisato Ayato, will be available for players to wish for.
• Kamisato Ayaka officially returns in a rerun Wish banner.
• 2 New Artifact Sets: Vermillion Hereafter and Echoes of an Offering, were added.
• Bug fixes and optimizations were applied for a better experience overall.

Genshin Impact is a free-to-play open-world action RPG that brings players to the visually stunning world of Teyvat. The player takes on the role of the mysterious “Traveler,” who sets off on a journey to discover the fate of their lost sibling and unveils the mysterious secrets of Teyvat along the way. The Version 2.6 update, Zephyr of the Violet Garden, is now available for download on PS4 and PS5 from the PlayStation Store, on Android from Google Play, on iOS from the App Store, and on PC from Epic Games Store or the Genshin Impact official website. 10 GB of free disk space is required on PC, while roughly 3 GB of free storage space are required on mobile.
