Just recently, developer HoYoverse livestreamed a Special Program revealing the details of the twentieth Version Update for Genshin Impact, titled All Senses Clear, All Existence Void. This update will be released on December 7, 2022, and will introduce a new permanent game mode that will make its way to the game. Furthermore, two new characters: Wanderer and Faruzan, will also be added to the game, alongside a new Archon Quest Interlude.
In Version 3.3, the Archon Quest will have its Interlude featuring Scaramouche, now known as the Wanderer, who walks down a different path under Nahida’s custody. Curious about his development, you will head to Irminsul with the Wanderer to find out how the story unravels.
Meanwhile, back in Inazuma, a new seasonal event called Akitsu Kimodameshi is now ongoing, where players will meet with Arataki Itto to master a series of “brick-breaker” mini-games. Another special event is also occurring in Mondstadt, which requires players to collect Wilderness Balloons within a limited time. Lastly, the classic hide-and-seek game of Windtrace and the challenge event Misty Dungeon will both return with fresh updates.
Two new characters will join Genshin Impact‘s playable roster in Version 3.3. The first one is the Wanderer, a 5-star Anemo catalyst with the ability to hover and attack in mid-air, and his power can be enhanced when coming into contact with Hydro/Pyro/Cryo/Electro. The other character is Faruzan, a 4-star Anemo bow who supports teammates by offering Anemo DMG Bonus effects while weakening opponents’ Anemo Resistance.
The Wanderer will be featured in the “From Ashes Reborn” Event Wish alongside Arataki Itto in a rerun of the “Oni’s Royale” event wish, both of which will make up for the first half of banners. Later on, Raiden Shogun and Kamisato Ayato will be featured in the “Reign of Eternity” and “Azure Excursion” Event Wishes, which are coming in the second half of Version 3.3. Faruzan will be included in the banners’ first half and added to the permanent pool of characters.
Next, a brand-new playable mode is coming to Genshin Impact, called Genius Invokation TCG. This mode combines the fun of the element-based combat system with strategy development with trading card gameplay, allowing both players and NPCs to compete against each other with their collection of cards.
In a match of Genius Invokation, the winner must defeat all of their opponent’s Character Cards with Normal Attacks, Elemental Skills, and Elemental Bursts of their own Character Cards. Players must skillfully swap Character Cards to trigger Elemental Reactions and apply more buffs and effects with various Action Cards. As you defeat more card players, you can redeem more cards and Dynamic Skins from the Card Shop.
