Genshin Impact Version 1.6 Pre-Installation Now Available on PC and Mobile Platforms

Ready to pass the summer with Klee and her companions? Genshin Impact‘s Version 1.6 update is arriving soon, and as always, you can already begin pre-installing the game data on both mobile and PC platforms, so you can get right into the action when the update splashes in on June 9, 2021.

The update is on the lighter side for both PC and mobile users. The reason is likely because, in Version 1.5, players could adjust and delete voice files, and as Developer MiHoYo has stated, the files you delete won’t be updated in subsequent patches. Only 8.2 GB will be allocated this time, and about 3.6 GB will be downloaded and installed for now.

Here’s a list of what you can expect in Version 1.6 of Genshin Impact:

• A new limited-time area will be added for players to explore.
• New Limited-Time Boss: Maguu Kenki
• Klee: Fleeting Sunlight returns in a reprint banner, and Kaedehara Kazuha, a new character, will be available for players to Wish.
• Four new limited-time events, which will gradually occur.
• New Serenitea Pot feature: Companion Move-In
• New weapons will be added.
• Changes and optimizations will be made for a better game experience.
