Genshin Impact Shows Stunning New Trailer At The Game Awards; Wins Best Mobile Game

Just now, Genshin Impact has made an appearance on The Game Awards with a brand-new trailer. While the trailer is a compilation of cutscenes from Versions 2.0 and onwards, the developer also provided players with a sneak peek at the recently teased Yun Jin, a character from Liyue that was introduced on their official Twitter a few weeks ago.

That is not all, however, for Genshin Impact earned the Best Mobile Game award against its competitors such as League of Legends and Pokémon Unite. Previously, the developer gave away 800 Primogems to all players in a 4-day login bonus after winning two awards from PlayStation, so it’s entirely possible that we might see more free Primogems coming soon. …Or not. Who knows?

Genshin Impact is a free-to-play open-world action RPG that brings players to the visually stunning world of Teyvat. The player takes on the role of the mysterious “Traveler,” who sets off on a journey to discover the fate of their lost sibling and unveils the mysterious secrets of Teyvat along the way. Version 2.3, Shadows Amid Snowstorms, is currently available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC (through the official website and the Epic Games Store), Android, and iOS devices.
