Genshin Impact Removed the Option to Change Nickname and We Don’t Know Why

This morning, Genshin Impact players woke up perplexed, as the option to edit your Character Nickname, as well as your Signature (a small message below your username), was mysteriously removed from the options menu.

Genshin Impact previously allowed players to customize their traveler’s name and display a custom message on the Signature screen. But now, you cannot change either of those. There is no Notice or official info from developer MiHoYo as to why those two features were removed seemingly out of nowhere.

Many players have filed inquiries to MiHoYo’s Customer Support already, but as of the time of this writing, the option is notably absent from the Paimon Menu.
