Genshin Impact Releases New Character Demo Trailer for Wriothesley

HoYoverse has recently published a brand-new character demo trailer for Wriothesley, an upcoming playable character that will be coming to Genshin Impact. Known as the “Duke” of the Fortress of Meropide, Wriothesley serves as the prison’s administrator and overseeing the facility’s overall status.]

He is a Catalyst character that infuses his fists with his Cryo vision, dealing rapid attacks that deal Cryo DMG. Similar to Neuvilette, he is also capable of consuming health to cast certain types of attacks and then recovering the spent health afterwards.

Wriothesley will be available on the second half of banners of Genshin Impact’s Version 4.1 alongside Venti’s rerun banner, with Thoma, Dori and Chongyun available as the rate-up 4-star units on both banners. The Epitome Invocation banner will be updated to include Venti’s signature weapon, Elegy for the End, and Wriothesley’s signature weapon, Cashflow Supervision.

Genshin Impact is a free-to-play open-world adventure RPG that brings players to the visually stunning world of Teyvat. The player takes on the role of the mysterious “Traveler,” who sets off on a journey to discover the fate of their lost sibling and unveils the mysterious secrets of Teyvat along the way.

Starting from Version 4.0, players can explore five of the seven major cities in Teyvat: Mondstadt, Liyue, Inazuma, Sumeru, and Fontaine, each with unique cultures, stories, and vast surrounding landscapes, and offering a diversity of creatures, monsters, secrets, and hidden treasures for players to discover. Version 4.1 is currently available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC via the Epic Games Store or Genshin Impact’s official website and mobile via the App Store for iOS and Google Play for Android.
