During Sony’s State of Play, MiHoYo released a new trailer for their open-world RPG, Genshin Impact running on PlayStation 4 hardware.
The trailer highlights new characters and story elements that players will encounter within the game. During gameplay, players will clear various dungeons as they attempt to bring peace to the world. This also requires players to get new characters through gacha mechanics to join their party and get through various elemental puzzles. The trailer also confirms that it will launch on PlayStation 4 this fall.
Genshin Impact is a free-to-play open-world action RPG where you will play as a young protagonist known as the traveler. During gameplay, players will be able to explore and climb various buildings and locations, and battle monsters around the game’s open world. This game is definitely inspired by titles like Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and Breath of the Wild just by the look of it, but the models and animations are very similar to Honkai Impact 3rd.
