Genshin Impact Gets September Release Date on PC and Mobile Devices; Pre-Registration is Open Now

MiHoYo announced that their open-world RPG, Genshin Impact, will launch on PC and iOS and Android devices on September 28.

To celebrate the announcement, the developer has opened up a pre-registration campaign where players can earn in-game materials by sharing on social media and registering to play on each device. Currently, the team is counting the number of pre-registers in hopes to reach 3 million by launch. There are various milestones that will give players a bonus for participating so they can begin the game with various in-game items.

Genshin Impact is a free-to-play open-world action RPG where you will play as a young protagonist known as the traveler. During gameplay, players will be able to explore and climb various buildings and locations, and battle monsters around the game’s open world. This game is definitely inspired by titles like Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and Breath of the Wild just by the look of it, but the models and animations are very similar to Honkai Impact 3rd.

We’ll be sure to keep you updated on any more news around Genshin Impact’s release.
