Genshin Impact Scheduled to Launch Before October on PC and Mobile Devices
MiHoYo announced that their open-world RPG, Genshin Impact, will launch before October on PC and iOS and Android devices.
The free-to-play game will allow players to start their journey into Teyvat, but we’ll have to wait until the team provides an official release date. I suppose these release window updates are meant to hype fans. Still, there’s no mention of the PlayStation 4 version, which just finished a closed beta, or the Nintendo Switch version.
Genshin Impact is an open-world action RPG where you will play as a young protagonist known as the traveler. During gameplay, players will be able to explore and climb various buildings and locations, and battle monsters around the game’s open world. This game is definitely inspired by titles like Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and Breath of the Wild just by the look of it, but the models and animations are very similar to Honkai Impact 3rd.
We’ll be sure to keep you updated on any more news around Genshin Impact’s release.
In case you missed it, check out our preview of the game’s final closed beta, where we play more of the game on PS4. You can also check out the Switch trailer for the game along with new details about the game’s world.
