Genshin Impact Shares New Artwork Celebrating Paimon & Arataki Itto’s Birthdays

The official Twitter account of Genshin Impact recently published two new posts celebrating the birthday of Arataki Itto, as well as our certified “emergency food” floaty partner Paimon. Birthday mails were also sent to all players with some rewards.

So, some bearded merchant from Shumeru or Sumeru or whatever asked Shinobu for a bit of legal help, and whaddya know, in the end they ended sending a ton of their local specialties! Check it out, there are even some golden Onikabuto! Awesome, huh? I’ve raised them to be huge and powerful, and now, during this annual celebration of the birth of the one and only King Arataki, I’m giving ’em all to you! How stoked are you?

Oh, but that’s not all! There’s Seagrass from Shimura’s, and Naku Weed from Tsukumono Groceries too. I brought the gang down and worked for them for three whole days to score this haul. But hey, no biggie, what I earned, I’m giving it to you! No reason, really, I just want my compadre on this crazy ride called life to be just like me on this special day — the world’s happiest Oni! Er, no, human!

Hey! Don’t make fun of Paimon for waiting until now to think about it! Paimon actually secretly planned it all out when you weren’t looking, okay! Eat delicious food, go somewhere fun… As long as Paimon’s with you, it’ll all come true! So no need to waste wishes on that.

Then the first wish is…to be together with you forever! No matter how tough the going gets, we’ll make it through and be safe and sound at the end of it all! The second wish…um, hey, if you make fewer wishes, does the wishing effect get, like, concentrated or something? So it will definitely come true, right?

Then Paimon won’t be greedy! It’s enough to have you. Okay, now stop teasing Paimon and bring out the cake, Paimon knows you’ve got one ready~!
