Mona Revealed in Trailer for Genshin Impact Causing Us to Throw Our Wallets at Our Screens to Get Her in a Gacha Pull
MiHoYo revealed a new character for their open-world RPG, Genshin Impact, coming to PlayStation 4, PC, and iOS and Android on September 28.
The character revealed is Mona, an astrologist who follows the teachings of Marie Kondo and rids herself of material belongings. Her elemental magic revolves around water attacks and that is used at a distance. She is a ranged fighter unlike the main protagonist who uses water, but can also equip swords.
Genshin Impact is a free-to-play open-world action RPG where you will play as a young protagonist known as the traveler. During gameplay, players will be able to explore and climb various buildings and locations, and battle monsters around the game’s open world. This game is definitely inspired by titles like Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and Breath of the Wild just by the look of it, but the models and animations are very similar to Honkai Impact 3rd.
