Genshin Impact Shares New Artwork By Amnesia Artist Celebrating Kamisato Ayato’s Birthday
The official Twitter account of Genshin Impact recently published a post with brand-new artwork celebrating the birthday of Kamisato Ayato, the older brother of Kamisato Ayaka and the Yashiro Commissioner. In addition, a birthday mail containing 10 Crystal Cores, the Quiet Elegance dish, and 2 Radishes was also sent to all players via the Birthday Mailbox.
This particular artwork was drawn by Mai Hanamura, known for their work in the Amnesia series of otome games. An amusing piece of trivia is that Kent, one of the love interests in Amnesia, does share the same Japanese voice actor, Akira Ishida.
The tweet thread reads:
It’s been a while. I didn’t think I’d run into you at such an early hour.
Ayaka often says that Inazuma’s mornings are perfect for talking a walk, and today’s no exception.
I hope you’re not running any errands and simply enjoying a leisurely stroll in this pleasant weather.
If you ask me, I’d say that mornings are also perfect for sword practice.
Ah, while we’re at it, why don’t we have a friendly duel?
The in-game mail reads:
I hope this letter finds you well.
Today, a banquet is to be held at the Kamisato Estate to admire the vernal scenery.
In gratitude for the assistance that you have often provided, I cordially extend this invitation in hopes that you will attend.
After enjoying the humble fare at our table, if you still wish to partake in other elegant pursuits, you may as well sit together with me under the eaves, drinking tea and sculpting flowers. Using the elemental energy contained with crystal cores, the fleeting moment in which a flower blooms may be preserved, allowing the spring sunlight filling the garden to linger.
As for the most crucial step in fashioning flowers with your sword, I will perform a demonstration first. Practice makes perfect, but it should not prove difficult for one so accomplished in martial arts as yourself.
I have instructed my retainers to prepare the necessary materials, and await your visit.
