MiHoYo announced that the final closed beta for their open-world RPG, Genshin Impact, will take place in July for PlayStation 4 and PC.

The developer will announce “any amendments to the timescale” from their official channels, such as Twitter. You can rest assured that we will keep you up to date on the launch of closed beta as well as provide coverage from the release.

Currently, the developer has opened registration on their website for players to apply for the closed beta opportunity. The closed beta will be open to players on PS4 and PC and will feature crossplay options. During the beta, players will be able to run through dungeons and take on challenges together through the game’s open-world.

Genshin Impact is an open-world action RPG where you will play as a young protagonist known as the traveler. During gameplay, players will be able to explore and climb various buildings and locations, and battle monsters around the game’s open world. This game is definitely inspired by titles like Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and Breath of the Wild just by the look of it, but the models and animations are very similar to Honkai Impact 3rd.
