Genshin Impact Shares New Artwork Celebrating Gorou’s Birthday
The official Twitter account of Genshin Impact recently published a post with two new brand-new artwork celebrating the birthday of Gorou, the courageous and reliable general of Watatsumi Island’s army. A birthday mail containing Gorou’s signature dish, Victorious Legend and five Adventurer’s Experience materials was also sent to all players via the Birthday Mailbox.
The tweet thread reads:
C’mon, Tawara, say hi to the Traveler! Haha, he’s quite frisky! As our camp dog, tracking enemies and retrieving wounded are what Tawara is best at.
But rather than sending him on missions, I much prefer to see him relaxed and carefree like this.
As for the responsibility of protecting this hard-won peace… leave it to me!
The in-game mail reads:
I recently caught wind that the troops are planning a birthday celebration for me. Though I don’t want to trouble everyone, I also don`t want to disappoint them.
After some consideration, I have decided to host a tournament. The format will require participants to register in teams of two, which will allow each person to demonstrate their individual skill on top of promoting teamwork and trust!
I’ve sent letters to Captain Beidou and Kazuha, and I hope they can make it here on time. As for Narukami Island, Arataki Itto was the first to reply: saying: “Don’t you worry, ’cause victory belongs to Arataki ‘No Doubt About It-to’!” Thoma has also responded that he intends to participate alongside Taroumaru.
Such a gathering of masters and experts ー ah, I can barely contain my excitement…Um, I meanー would you come join the tournament as my partner? That is, if you have the time of course. With you by my side, we’d be invincible!
