Genshin Impact Developer Starts Campaign to Get Elon Musk to Play on Stream
We aren’t really sure where, to begin with, this. Genshin Impact, one of the biggest action-adventure games available today, celebrates 2 Million Twitter followers with a campaign.
The developer, miHoYo, has launched a second Twitter account, @Paimon2theMoon, and urges fans to follow. There are tiers to the milestones as follows:
- 500k follows: @GenshinImpact will be renamed back to Paimon
- 1 Million follows: @GenshinImpact will follow @ElonMusk
- 3 Million follows: @GenshinImpact will invite @ElonMusk to stream Genshin Impact
- 5 Million follows: @GenshinImpact CEO Dawei will invite Elon Musk to visit Mihoyo HQ
Elon Musk is the owner of Tesla and is known for partaking in the obscure meme culture of the internet. Like most, he may even be a fan of Genshin Impact already, but there’s no real cause for the miHoYo to do this.
Genshin Impact’s Version 2.2 Update, Into the Perilous Labyrinth of Fog, is now available for download on PC and mobile devices. Players may update their game via their platform of choice. For the PC version, 11.8 GB of free disk space is required to install the update. The update will be available following the game’s maintenance period.
We’ll keep you updated on the development of this story. At the time of writing, the Ella Musk account has 18k followers.
