MiHoYo has launched a new trailer for the open-world RPG Genshin Impact, coming to PC and mobile devices in 2020.
The trailer opens up with Amber, of the Knights of Favonius, as she introduces herself and guides the viewer through the trailer. The rest of the trailer focuses on story and characters and viewers get a chance to see the game’s colorful world and characters in battle. There’s also a few enemy types shown as well as unique abilities for weapons. Lastly, the trailer gives players an idea of the Japanese voice audio in the game and voice actors.
Genshin Impact is an 0pen-world Action RPG where you will play as a young protagonist known as the traveler. During gameplay, players will be able to explore and climb various buildings and locations, and battle monsters around the game’s open world. This game is definitely inspired by titles like Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and Breath of the Wild just by the look of it, but the models and animations are very similar to Honkai Impact 3rd.
Currently, the developer is taking sign-ups for the game’s upcoming beta on the Official Website, which doesn’t have a release date or platform, but we can assume it is going to be PC.
You can watch the new character and gameplay video for Genshin Impact to hold you over until more information is announced:
