MiHoYo has launched their open-world RPG, Genshin Impact, on PlayStation 4, PC, and iOS and Android globally. Due to server maintenance, players can currently only pre-download the game, but can’t access it until after maintenance.
The developer is celebrating the launch with a new trailer that shows players what they can expect for Version 1.0 of the game. The free-to-play title will have content updates in the future that add new characters and story elements. Players can enjoy the game in single-player mode, but there’s also multiplayer offerings along with crossplay support.
There are also a few bundles available for players to purchase to give them an early head start such as the Adventure’s Bundle for $9.99, containing:
- Wish material: Acquaint Fate ×2
- Currency: Mora ×150,000
- Character EXP material: Adventurer’s Experience ×80
- Weapon EXP material: Fine Enhancement Ore ×50
- Food items: Northern Smoked Chicken ×10, Sautéed Matsutake ×10, Sweet Madame ×10, Tea Break Pancake ×10
Genshin Impact is a free-to-play open-world action RPG where you will play as a young protagonist known as the traveler. During gameplay, players will be able to explore and climb various buildings and locations, and battle monsters around the game’s open world. This game is definitely inspired by titles like Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and Breath of the Wild just by the look of it, but the models and animations are very similar to Honkai Impact 3rd.
